“We PCS’d to Fort Hood and needed a furnished temporary place. We checked out several places. Thomas Brown (owner) was very helpful and was able to get us into a 2 bedroom fully furnished apartment. The apartment had everything expect the food. Very reasonable price, and apartment was clean. He understands what military families need, and will work with you. If I could give him 10 stars I would.”

This is a gem in the rough. My wife and I were in transition and went all over town trying to find a suitable “home” for two months when we stumbled across Mr. Brown’s ad. It’s not the cheapest place but it has the amenities and comfort of somewhere you can call home. It truely has everything but the food. They have everything; washer and dryer, sheets, dishes, pots and pans, towels, vacuum, cleaning supplies and much more. Your cable, water, electricity and internet is included. And if that isn’t enough, the thing that captured our attention above all else is that the place was CLEAN! My wife and I feel that this was definitely the best place to be for the money.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place a temporary place to stay. My husband is in the military and we PCSd here and we were waiting for housing on post. I really didn’t want to stay in a motel for two months with three kids. I also didn’t want to sign a lease somewhere as we were waiting for housing. I also wanted to enroll my kids at a school near by so they wouldn’t fall behind. We were able to get an apartment near a school and it was withing walking distance to the bus stop. My kids went to school there for two months or so then when we got housing on post i just transferred them there. It was a pretty smooth move for my kids. We spent the same amount we would have spent at a local motel. Except here it includes washer dryer in apt., kitchen, and it also includes the pots and pans, detergent for your laundry, towels, all the little things your probably forgot to pack. You should check it out and see for your self.
